Intel and Qualcomm have been a major contributor to the creation of Apple's device in the US giant Apple. According to the report, Apple has teamed up with the Chip Maker company Qualcomm to partner with the 5G smartphone model. Immediately after this, Intel has announced to exit the 5G smartphone model. However, the company has informed that it will continue to contribute in the 5G game for PCs and other IOT devices.
Intel has said in one of its statements that it will continue to work for 4G and 5G PCs for its 5G network. The company's CEO Bob Swan said, "We are very excited about the opportunity in the 5G and the 'Cloudfication' of the network, but it is clear in the smartphone modem business that we will not do any of this work."
It was recently reported that Huawei was offered to offer Apple a 5G modem chip on behalf of China's company Huawei. But there was no solution due to the company's relationship with the US government. So far apple was using Intel's chip for its 4G model chip iFapones. These include iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. At the same time, Qualcomm's 5G modem chip can be used for Apple's incoming iPhones.
