Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday targeted Congress Party President Rahul Gandhi and said that he is not going to give any message of message to South India but to give a message of appeasement politics to contest elections from Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency in Kerala. Addressing an election rally here to support the BJP candidates in the state, PM Modi said that he wants to know why Rahul Gandhi did not get candidature from Thiruvananthapuram or Pathanmithita Lok Sabha constituency in Kerala itself.
It is notable that Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Wayanad seat in UP, along with his traditional Lok Sabha seat in Amethi, UP. In this regard, the Congress party says that they want to send messages to the regions of South India that they are equally valuable for them and they have the same respect. PM Modi has alleged that, "the Congress nominee says that they have come to Wayanad to deliver a message to South India." Could he not give this message to the state capital of Thiruvananthapuram or Panthanamthitta seat?
PM Modi said that his message from here also becomes vast. It is not a message for South India but it is being given the message of appeasement politics. Earlier, PM Modi attacked the Congress party in Karnataka's election rallies and claimed that the Congress party wants to create a 'compulsive' PM in the nation. PM Modi also urged the people to form a strong government, which emphasized on national security at the Center.
